Abhinav Biswas is a cybersecurity leader with 13 years of hands-on experience spanning embedded development, vulnerability assessment, blue-teaming and strategic cloud risk management. As Chief Manager for Cyber Strategy, Audits & Compliance at ECIL, he leads cyber-resilience for critical national sectors including nuclear and defence, translating technical controls into governance, policy and measurable compliance. He has built proactive programs—automated incident response, vulnerability-as-a-service, threat-intel pipelines and gamified crisis exercises—that embed zero-trust and damage-limitation into organisational culture. A Chevening Fellow and DSCI-recognised emerging security leader, he blends academic rigour from BITS Pilani and Cranfield with industry certifications and national-level training to influence standards and capacity-building. Not obvious from the title: his research on darknet surveillance using honeypots won IIT Madras’s Best Innovative Paper and informs many of his practical threat-hunting techniques.
