Achilles Saxby is a founder and fractional Head of Data with nine years of hands-on experience building, operating and transferring foundational data capabilities across sectors from health-tech and AgeTech to fintech, gaming and urban analytics. He specializes in a Build-Operate-Transfer model—standing up data platforms, ML pipelines, and teams for growth-stage organisations and then embedding repeatable processes for scale. His work spans patient-trial predictive engines, senior-care movement analytics, sustainability scoring and ROAS/UA forecasting, combining statistical rigor from an IIT/NYU background with product- and client-facing leadership. Comfortable switching between roles from data scientist to product manager and chief-of-staff, he’s proven at converting pilots into recurring contracts and enabling teams to own production ML. Based in Bengaluru, he brings an interdisciplinary curiosity (self-described philosopher-statistician) that surfaces unconventional perspectives when designing pragmatic, impact-driven data solutions.
