Top SchoolAdam Cardenas is a Staff Software Engineer with 12 years of experience building high-throughput, distributed systems and AI-driven products across startups and large tech firms. He has led zero-to-one projects and critical backend services at Twitter and Dropbox—owning massive real-time data pipelines, link-shortening and ingestion systems handling tens of thousands of events per second. As a founding engineer at Sprites AI (YC W22) he shipped agentic, chat-first workflow and code-generation tooling that bridges prompts to production apps. Now based in Salt Lake City, he combines deep backend and data engineering expertise (Go, TypeScript, Kafka, Elasticsearch, Neo4j, AWS) with hands-on mentoring and hiring experience. Notably, Adam routinely operates at high velocity—mentoring peers while driving cross-team, cross-org initiatives and shipping production systems from concept to scale.
