Senior🎓
Top SchoolAdam Mcamis is a Senior Software Engineer based in New York with over a decade of experience building thoughtful, high-performance front-end experiences for web and TV platforms. He has driven measurable impact at companies like Peloton and Warby Parker, improving Time to Interactive and leading cross-functional efforts across cart, checkout, and streaming video apps using React, TypeScript, and Next.js. Adam combines hands-on coding with mentorship and pragmatic engineering judgment—favoring readable, maintainable code and creating opportunities for others rather than just accruing seniority. Known on GitHub as a maker of “spicy divs,” he brings a designer’s sensibility (Columbia College Chicago, Illustration) to UI work and a performance-first mindset to complex client apps. Colleagues value his ability to turn ambiguous product needs into shipped features without overbuilding the infrastructure.
