Top SchoolAdam Nagy is a director-level engineer with eight years of experience blending blockchain, machine learning, and energy systems to build data-driven, sustainable solutions. He has led blockchain strategy and engineering at Energy Web and now directs Moon Soon Labs, applying his background in energy forecasting, RL-based building control, and distributed systems to real-world markets. Comfortable bridging research and product, he’s implemented PV and consumption forecasting, home battery simulation, and blockchain use cases for grid applications. An avid open-source maintainer (admin at Energy Web’s GitHub) and lifelong learner, he pursues pet app projects and new skills through online courses. Based in Portugal, he pairs nature-minded pastimes like hiking and biking with practical crypto trading experience and a knack for turning complex energy problems into deployable software. Notably, his academic and industry path spans KU Leuven, KTH and hands-on research in crowdsensing and mobile urban apps, reflecting both breadth and execution focus.
