Top SchoolAdam Stein is a Senior Software Engineer with 12 years of experience building database-driven web applications, backend services, and automated test suites using Python, Django, SQL, and open-source stacks. He has a strong background in image quality measurement and color processing, holding a patent in image processing and practical experience automating data workflows to dramatically boost team productivity. Comfortable across the full stack, Adam maintains and evolves both front-end (HTML5, JavaScript/jQuery) and backend systems (Django, CouchDB/MySQL) while writing and maintaining migration tools and test automation. He has repeatedly created zero-cost, open-source-based solutions in enterprise settings and transitioned from consultant to direct-hire roles by delivering reliable results. Based in Rochester, NY, Adam pairs an MS in Computational Imaging with deep Unix/Linux and C/C++ roots, which inform his pragmatic approach to performance-sensitive imaging problems. Colleagues note his knack for turning tedious manual processes into automated pipelines that free teams to focus on higher-value work.
