Top SchoolAdam Wester is a full-stack engineer and engineering manager with 11 years of experience building and scaling SaaS products, primarily using Django REST Framework and React.js. He has led technical transitions from monolithic MVPs to modern API-driven architectures, implemented CI/CD and test-driven development, and built engineering teams as VP of Engineering and CTO. As a long-time freelancer he’s shipped a dozen+ products across industries—real estate, e-commerce, accounting integrations, and education—often acting as solo developer, CTO, or VP of Engineering. He brings a rare blend of technical depth and business acumen from formal MIS and MBA studies, which helps him align engineering decisions to product and growth goals. Based in Quindío, Colombia, he favors pragmatic, scalable solutions and developer workflows (docker, staging/develop environments) that accelerate team ramp-up. He’s also experienced in React Native and WebRTC-based real-time features, signaling comfort with both web and mobile product surfaces.
