Top SchoolAdnan Alhomssi is a senior software engineer based in Munich with 12 years of experience specializing in database systems, concurrent data structures, and exploiting modern hardware for high-performance software. He has led storage and data-structures efforts as tech lead at RelationalAI and now contributes to CedarDB, blending deep research experience with hands-on engineering. His background includes doctoral research and multiple research assistant roles focused on NVM, storage engines, and log techniques, and he has integrated prototype engines into production systems like MySQL. Academically distinguished (MSc with honours from TUM and top BSc honors), he pairs rigorous theory with pragmatic system-building. Notably, he moves fluidly between low-level systems work and web development, giving him a rare full-stack-to-hardware perspective when architecting scalable data platforms.
