Top SchoolAdrià Sant'anna is a Senior Backend Engineer based in Barcelona with nine years of experience building high-throughput, low-latency distributed systems and data pipelines, currently at Datadog. He has driven core security and observability infrastructure—authoring a map-reduce service for Datadog’s Cloud SIEM and bootstrapping a semantic graph visualization ingesting millions of cloud audit logs—while owning design, deployment, and on-call incident leadership. Earlier work spans deep learning and computer vision at Restb.ai, migrating research to production-ready frameworks and improving model performance. A Computer Science graduate with international study at Aalto and Beihang, he combines strong academic grounding in data mining and AI with hacker energy (and a fondness for Arch Linux). Outside work he organizes large student hackathons and brings a leader’s perspective from serving as student association president.
