Top SchoolAdriana Zimmermann is a Tech Lead and senior software engineer with 11 years of experience building cloud-native, distributed systems across Java, Kotlin, Scala, Python, Ruby and Go. She has driven backend architecture and integrations at companies like Centric Software, Personio and trivago, specializing in Kafka, Kubernetes, GCP/AWS, Bigtable and robust integration testing. Adriana blends hands-on implementation with cross-functional leadership—mentoring engineers, running code quality practices, and aligning technical decisions with product needs. Her background spans migrating monoliths to microservices and delivering observability and CI/CD platforms, reflecting a strong focus on developer productivity. Based in Valencia, she is equally comfortable shaping API-driven platforms and diving into low-level data systems, often advocating architectural improvements that preempt scalability pain points. Colleagues know her for pragmatic engineering trade-offs and consistently shipping reliable, production-grade systems.
