Top SchoolAkshay Khairmode is an Associate Vice President and backend-focused engineering leader with 10 years of experience building high-performance Go microservices for mission-critical financial systems. He has led end-to-end development and solo innovation—authoring production-grade Go HTTP proxies, lock-free configuration systems, and a Redis Pub/Sub-backed WebSocket layer that scaled to 100,000 concurrent connections for real-time trading flows. Comfortable across cloud-native and serverless stacks, Akshay combines expertise in AWS Lambda, Kafka event pipelines, and polyglot persistence (MySQL, MongoDB, Cassandra, Vertica) to deliver resilient, low-latency payment and payout processing at scale. He mentors engineers, establishes team-wide development standards, and has a track record of modernizing legacy systems by re-architecting them into performant Go services. Based in Mumbai, he’s particularly interested in joining product companies building critical applications in Go within microservice architectures.
