Senior🎓
Top SchoolAlejandro Mota is a Debian Developer and seasoned DevOps/SRE consultant with 16 years of experience building cloud-native infrastructure and resilient GNU/Linux systems. He blends an electrical engineering background with deep FLOSS expertise to solve power-system and software problems—having used data mining and R to model transformer loads as well as Terraform, Kubernetes, and Go to productionize services at organizations like Sky and the UK Ministry of Justice. Longtime Debian maintainer (since 2006) with upload privileges and active in Debian-Perl, he packages libraries and apps that support the broader open-source ecosystem. Alejandro excels at infrastructure as code, observability and secret management (Prometheus, Grafana, Consul, Vault), and brings a pragmatic habit of turning research into operational tooling. He’s been running GNU/Linux since his teens, giving him uncommon hands-on depth across systems, tooling and electrical domains.
