Senior🎓
Top SchoolAleksey Terzi is a Senior Software Engineer based in Calgary with 11 years of professional experience and a developer pedigree stretching back to early work in aerospace and Win32/.NET systems. He currently drives product and engineering work at Shift iQ and has a long history of independent contracting and senior engineering roles that span Delphi, C++, C#, Oracle and modern commercial and open-source projects. Comfortable moving between legacy desktop systems and contemporary web-backed solutions, Aleksey blends hands-on coding with pragmatic system design and long-term maintenance thinking. His career shows a rare continuity—transitioning smoothly from academic aerospace software into commercial and startup environments—so he’s equally at home optimizing databases or shipping customer-facing features.
