Top SchoolAlexander Azarov is a Staff Software Engineer specializing in Cloud FinOps with a Ph.D. in a STEM field and over 16 years of hands-on industry experience built on a 30-year technical background. He blends deep systems and infrastructure expertise—from bare metal to cloud-native platforms—with leadership experience as a former CTO and founding engineer who has driven CI/CD, observability, security, and zero-downtime deployments. At Meta and multiple high-growth companies he focused on developer infrastructure and data ingestion, and now applies that operational rigor to cost-aware cloud engineering at HTS. Based in London, he pairs academic rigor from MIPT with pragmatic product delivery, and is particularly strong at turning complex infrastructure challenges into reliable, scalable systems that balance performance and cost.
