Top SchoolAlexander Baryshnikov is a Chief Data Officer with over a decade of experience designing and operating end-to-end data platforms, BI and governance for large Russian enterprises. He has a proven track record of shifting architectures (ETL→ELT), building DWHs and self-service analytics that scaled monthly active users from hundreds to thousands while cutting reporting time by 60% and downtime to near zero. Comfortable leading small technical teams, he combines hands-on engineering (MS SQL Server stack, SSIS/SSAS/SSRS, Power BI, T-SQL/Python/R) with product-oriented practices like documentation, chatbots and AI agents to automate operational reporting. An MBA and AI/ML training complement his mix of strategic management and technical delivery, and he also experiments with algorithmic trading and trading bots in his spare time.
