Top SchoolAllen Kerr is a founding software engineer and payments specialist with 11 years of experience building production payment systems and integrations for high-growth fintech and consumer platforms in San Francisco. He has driven payments strategy and third-party processor integrations at Airbnb, Chime, Brex, and now early-stage startups, combining deep domain knowledge in tax and payments with hands-on engineering. Comfortable moving between startups and scale-ups, he pairs backend expertise with pragmatic product focus to ship reliable, auditable systems. His background includes early work in security tooling and vulnerability research, giving him an uncommon attention to secure, testable engineering practices. A Virginia Tech CS graduate, he’s equally at home architecting payment flows and rolling up his sleeves to implement them in fast-paced teams.
