Top SchoolAlperen Uzun is a Backend Chapter Lead and Staff-level engineer with 8 years of experience building distributed systems, system design, and backend architectures from Greater Istanbul. He progressed through senior engineering roles at Teknasyon and Wingie Enuygun Group, owning critical happy-path features like search, allocation, booking and payments, and applying SOLID and design patterns across PHP, Symfony, message queues and search stacks. Comfortable across full web stacks from Node.js realtime systems to PHP/Symfony services, he repeatedly delivers scalable back-end solutions using MySQL, Elasticsearch, RabbitMQ and caching layers. As a chapter lead he combines hands-on implementation with coaching and architectural ownership, and his Erasmus background hints at adaptability to international engineering environments. Notably, he has moved from individual contributor roles into technical leadership within the same organization, underscoring both deep domain knowledge and internal trust.
