Senior🎓
Top SchoolAnamol Pundle is a research-focused senior data scientist with a PhD in Mechanical Engineering and over nine years of experience applying machine learning, numerical simulation, and experimental design to real-world problems. He combines strong mathematical foundations (M.S. in Applied Math) with hands-on ML engineering in Python, deploying models from classical methods to CNNs and PyTorch-backed deep learning. His work spans academia and industry—optimizing low-emission cookstoves that reached market adoption in Kenya, building high-accuracy NLP authorship tools, and delivering production research at Meta and Google. Comfortable bridging theory and product, he has reduced large search query times from weeks to minutes and translated fluorescence imaging into predictive models for carcinogenic compounds. Based in Seattle, he brings a multidisciplinary perspective that pairs combustion physics and PDE modeling with scalable data systems and reproducible experimentation.
