Senior🎓
Top SchoolAndrew Chen is a software engineer graduating from Dartmouth College in June 2024 with eight years of practical engineering experience spanning VR/AR, full-stack web, and mobile platforms. He joins Meta full-time after multiple high-impact internships there, where he shipped features that meaningfully increased engagement for Horizon Worlds and Oculus companion app users. At MathWorks and Dartmouth DEV Studio he built production-grade React, Go, Unity, and ARKit applications for internal tools and research projects, blending frontend polish with backend reliability. His work often bridges research and product—turning academic projects into user-facing experiences like a VR tour of a historical site and an augmented reality trail guide. Comfortable in fast-paced teams, he has repeatedly delivered measurable usage improvements and cross-platform integrations. Based in Hanover, NH, Andrew brings a mix of product-minded engineering and XR domain expertise that’s uncommon for a new graduate.
