Summary
👤
SeniorAndrew Mason is a UI Engineer with over a decade of front-end experience building accessible, high-performance interfaces for top-tier media and games companies. He combines deep TypeScript and React expertise with a background in data visualisation, WebGL, and game UI tooling, having shipped features at Rare, Microsoft Studios, The Guardian and the BBC. His work spans prototyping, production UIs and tooling—most notably an award-winning Figma plugin that converts designs to responsive HTML and interactive storytelling projects with high engagement. Andrew is equally comfortable optimising runtime and memory for console games as he is crafting WCAG-compliant, responsive web experiences. He thrives in collaborative, designer-led workflows and often bridges the gap between creative intent and robust engineering through custom tooling and research into cutting-edge web tech. Based in Brighton, he brings a pragmatic mix of studio-level polish and production-grade engineering that accelerates both prototyping and large-scale delivery.
