Top SchoolAndrew Vaccaro is a Staff Software Engineer based in San Francisco with 11 years of experience specializing in data engineering using Python and SQL. He has led and scaled data tooling and pipelines across healthcare, public sector, and consumer platforms—building dbt tooling, Airflow/Snowflake pipelines, Kafka integrations, and internal AI enablement tools at companies like Alto Pharmacy and Notion. Comfortable shipping full data lifecycles, he pairs hands-on engineering (deploying ML models, creating a dbt linter) with mentoring and developer experience work to make analytics teams more productive. Notably, he drove data tooling for California’s Integrated Travel Project to help public transit decision-making, showing a knack for applying data engineering to real-world policy problems.
