Summary
👤
SeniorAndy Garron is a versatile software engineer and educator based in San Francisco with 11 years of experience blending product-grade engineering and hands-on mentorship. He spent much of his career at Discord building Android and cross-functional features, and has returned to the classroom as a middle school substitute teacher while coaching boxing and personal fitness. Comfortable shipping mobile apps and debugging complex systems, Andy pairs technical depth with strong people skills developed through teaching, coaching, and mentoring. His background as a USA Boxing–certified coach and personal trainer gives him an uncommon edge in team leadership, performance coaching, and resilience under pressure. Equally at ease in code reviews or lesson plans, he brings a pragmatic, user-focused mindset to both software and youth development. Based in the Bay Area, Andy thrives at the intersection of engineering, education, and community coaching.
