Senior🎓
Top SchoolAqueel Miqdad is a seasoned software engineer with nine years of experience building high-scale distributed systems and developer tooling, currently contributing to AGI efforts at xAI. He has led core services and platform work at X/Twitter, designing scalable, production-grade infrastructure that powers real-time products. Comfortable moving between hands-on engineering and technical leadership, he previously architected distributed Scala microservices and large-scale load testing systems. Early entrepreneurial and freelance experience—founding a consulting firm that helped raise over $2M in orders and building full-stack apps at Goldman Sachs—gives him a product-minded perspective uncommon in infrastructure-focused engineers. Based in San Francisco, he’s not actively seeking new opportunities but continues to push technical boundaries on ambitious, impact-driven projects.
