Top SchoolAravind Venkatesan is a Senior Software Engineer based in Singapore with seven years of full-stack experience, currently shaping genomic informatics at Illumina where his services power sequencing cloud orchestration used by the vast majority of customers. He excels in architecting and shipping cloud-native, event-driven microservices using .NET Core, Spring Boot, Express, AWS, Docker and Kubernetes, and has a track record of accelerating delivery (notably a 10x improvement through clean architecture and codebase optimization). A mentor and meticulous code reviewer, he balances hands-on implementation with team enablement and cross-functional integration work. His background spans ERP and workflow systems from earlier roles, and he pairs that product-facing experience with a Master’s in Information Systems from NUS. Active on GitHub and publishing a technical portfolio and blog, he combines practical production impact with a taste for sharing insights beyond the code.
