Top SchoolArnav Kansal is a software engineer with 10 years of experience building performant, production-grade systems, currently working on Google’s Container-Optimized Operating System in San Francisco. He has a strong foundation in computer science and electrical engineering from NYU and IIT Delhi, and a track record across low-latency trading, energy-aware kernel work, and real-time logistics at Citadel Securities, Samsung, Uber, and Google. At Uber he led design and delivery of core microservices and risk engines that fused live location signals and historical features to drive freight intelligence. He enjoys tackling hard problems at the intersection of distributed systems, performance, and reliability, and thrives in collaborative environments. A detail that often goes unnoticed: he has hands-on experience modifying the Linux scheduler for energy-awareness and shipping latency-sensitive infrastructure for high-frequency contexts. He combines rigorous engineering discipline with a passion for math-driven solutions that scale in the real world.
