Summary
👤
Senior🎓
Top SchoolArtur Geraschenko is a seasoned technical manager and engineering leader with over 12 years of experience progressing from developer and architect to head of IT for product development and operations. He specializes in building resilient infrastructure and data-intensive systems—advertising generation, ETL pipelines handling hundreds of GB per day, and multi‑TB sharded/partitioned PostgreSQL deployments. Artur combines hands-on programming in TypeScript, Python, Java and SQL with strategic responsibility for capacity planning, cloud costs (CAPEX/OPEX) and outsourcing relationships. He repeatedly modernized delivery: introducing CI/CD, observability, backup and release processes to move teams from monthly to weekly high-quality releases. Passionate about infrastructure and mentoring, he favors process-driven growth over directive management and documents his thinking in an active blog and YouTube channel. Based in Saint Petersburg, he currently leads observability and capacity efforts at Yandex, blending operational rigor with product-minded architecture.
