Top SchoolAsbjørn Clemmensen is a Principal Software Architect based in Copenhagen with 13 years of experience designing and operating cloud-native, event-driven systems and data pipelines. He blends deep C#/.NET expertise with pragmatic architecture decisions around microservices, Kafka, gRPC, Kubernetes and AWS to deliver scalable, observable platforms. At Siteimprove he progressed from developer to principal architect, leading cross-team features, cloud migrations, cost optimisation and the core framework behind the product UI and data processing. He’s comfortable across the full stack — storage, backend, domain, UI and DevOps — and has repeatedly owned end-to-end delivery and production reliability. Colleagues rely on him for measured trade-offs: doing the right thing at the right time for the right reasons. His background in information design and digital communication gives him a knack for making complex systems understandable to both engineers and stakeholders.
