Top SchoolAthos Sampayo is a pragmatic Data Engineer with 5 years of hands-on experience designing and optimizing ETL pipelines across AWS, GCP and Databricks to turn disparate sources into reliable, analytics-ready models. He combines strong Python, SQL, Spark and Airflow skills with practical DevOps practices (Docker, CI/CD, Git) to automate and scale data workflows for fintech and e-commerce teams. At QuintoAndar he led migrations and API-driven ingestion efforts, while at ROIT Bank he built end-to-end GCP dataflows and BigQuery integrations, reflecting a pattern of tackling complex, heterogeneous data environments. Comfortable translating stakeholder needs into streamlined data models and lineage, he also emphasizes pipeline observability and deprecation of legacy processes. Dual citizenship (Brazil-Spain) and a background in social sciences give him both international mobility and a nuanced, research-oriented approach to uncovering patterns in messy data.
