Top SchoolAurora Walker is a Senior Back-end Platform Developer with 11 years of experience building reliable, production-grade services from Victoria, BC. She has led teams and projects across payments, feature management, and developer tooling—holding hands-on roles from senior engineer to people manager and engineering lead. Her recent work focuses on back-end and platform engineering at Othersphere after contributing to feature delivery in TypeScript (NestJS/NextJS) at DevCycle and full-stack Python/Django systems at Battlesnake. Comfortable across infrastructure, architecture, and mentoring, she pairs practical coding with process improvements like incident response and engineering ladders. An early background in NLP research and an Android sensor-visualization project hints at a longstanding curiosity for applied research and data-driven interfaces.
