Top SchoolAvi Cavale is a seasoned technology founder and engineering leader with 12+ years building Internet-scale, fault-tolerant systems and SaaS platforms from startup to acquisition. He founded Shippable—later acquired by JFrog—led engineering and field CTO functions there, and has continued to launch startups including matrixD and Quarterback, combining product vision with hands-on architecture. His background spans cloud platform work at Microsoft (Azure, Xbox Live) where he cut operating costs dramatically while introducing analytics, continuous release, and production-first design. Avi blends deep technical expertise in real-time architectures, BI, and cloud infrastructure with pragmatic budget and crisis management, and is comfortable shifting between strategy, operations, and coding. Based in Seattle, he is known for turning complex distributed challenges into commercially viable, scalable products and for repeatedly translating early technical bets into business outcomes.
