Senior🎓
Top SchoolAvi Levy is a seasoned technology leader and co-founder serving as CTO at SysBind, where he has spent a decade transforming Moodle LMS deployments for universities and colleges across Israel. He combines hands-on expertise in PHP, JavaScript/TypeScript, Bash, SQL and multi-cloud architectures (GCP, AWS, Azure) to build scalable, open-source–centric educational platforms. Avi’s background spans product and integration engineering roles at Applied Materials and an earlier CEO stint at AdminTheWeb, giving him a rare mix of hardware-adjacent systems thinking and startup product leadership. He focuses on practical integrations that boost performance and engagement rather than flashy features, and he leads an engineering team that prioritizes reliability and educator-friendly experiences. An active OSS-minded developer and advocate, Avi channels his curiosity about emerging tech into continuous product evolution and enterprise education initiatives. Based in Israel with an electrical and electronics engineering foundation, he aims to set new standards in edtech by marrying deep technical craft with close ties to the academic community.
