Top SchoolAvi Mehra is a hybrid cloud architect and machine learning researcher with 8 years of experience building at-scale, production-ready distributed systems across AWS, GCP, Azure, and OCI. At Oracle he designed an auto-scalable Anomaly Detection as a Service that ingests 10M+ concurrent data points and integrates S3-compatible APIs across diverse storage backends. He blends deep ML expertise—from transformers and diffusion models to MSET/SPRT anomaly techniques—with hands-on DevOps skills (Kubernetes, Terraform, Docker) to operationalize research. A UC Berkeley computer science and mathematics graduate, Avi applies rigorous mathematical thinking to engineering problems, having contributed original results in lattice and sphere packing theory and practical open-source tools used in education. He mentors students and leads research in Learned AutoML and multimodal video analytics, uniquely pairing pure-math insights with cloud-native production engineering.
