Top SchoolAxel Martin is a founder-turned-CTO with 8 years of software engineering experience building commerce and fintech products from startup to scale. He currently leads engineering at Peak PIM and co-founded SyncBase, focusing on Shopify-native product information management and deep Shopify<>Airtable integrations. His background spans backend systems and smart contracts, with production experience at Monzo and Bulb where he shipped resilient services using TypeScript, Node, PostgreSQL and cloud tooling. Comfortable across full-stack web engineering and integrations, he combines product-first thinking with hands-on implementation and operational ownership. A Le Wagon alumnus who started as a freelance full-stack developer, Axel brings both entrepreneurial grit and a knack for turning bespoke merchant workflows into reusable platform solutions. Notably, he has bridged traditional finance and decentralized tech through smart-contract work, giving him a rare cross-domain perspective.
