Top SchoolAymen Djellal is a Senior Software Engineer with 11 years of experience building reliable, scalable cloud infrastructure across Microsoft, PayPal, Meta, Coinbase and other firms. He specializes in observability, incident automation, and backend reliability—having architected LLM-powered support automation and an intelligent root-cause system that ties Datadog telemetry to historical incidents to dramatically reduce MTTR. At Microsoft he supported Guest Agent on over 30M VMs and automated LiveSite tooling, and at PayPal he led platform modernizations that cut database incidents by 80%. Comfortable across AWS and Azure ecosystems and fluent in telemetry, security, and DevOps practices, he combines deep systems troubleshooting with pragmatic automation. Based in Ottawa, he blends production-grade engineering with a background in security research and hands-on ops experience, which helps him anticipate operational pitfalls before they surface.
