Top SchoolBaptiste Pesquet is an experienced software engineer and agrégé professor with 13 years teaching and over a decade in industry, currently combining roles as a lecturer in computer science and AI at ENSCognitique and a PhD student at Inria. He designs and leads curricula—responsible for second-year courses and creator of a third-year AI specialization—while still contributing hands-on to full-stack projects such as the OpenClassrooms JavaScript web server where he implemented backend routes, APIs and production configuration. Comfortable bridging academia and practice, he has held technical and leadership roles from architect and project lead in industry to long-term vocational teaching in French higher education. Known for turning complex concepts into practical coursework and production-ready code, he brings a rare mix of classroom pedagogy, research-driven AI work, and real-world software engineering.
