Top SchoolBekah Weigel is a Senior Developer Experience and Content Manager with eight years in software and a background as a college English instructor turned full‑stack developer. She learned to code via freeCodeCamp and Flatiron School, then shipped JavaScript and React work in production—specializing in refactoring legacy code, Storybook-driven component work, and testable frontends. Bekah founded and maintains Virtual Coffee, a thriving developer community and open-source site where she contributes frontend features, monthly challenge content, and documentation. At the Linux Foundation and prior roles in developer experience, she focuses on creating pathways for contributors to learn, collaborate, and gain recognition in open source. Her unusual combo of literary analysis and technical craft informs a user-centered approach to docs, community programming, and content strategy. Outside of paid roles she balances freelance engineering and storytelling as a writer, bringing narrative sensibility to engineering problems.
