Summary
👤
SeniorBen Rockwood is a seasoned technology founder and operations leader with over 25 years of hands-on experience spanning pre-web ISPs, enterprise systems, early cloud creation, and the transition from Solaris Zones to modern container platforms. He has repeatedly built and scaled global infrastructure and operations teams—designing data centers worldwide, modernizing IT and cloud governance, and shaping early DevOps practices through practical LEAN-driven change. As a founder and former exec at companies including Joyent, Chef, Packet/Equinix, and Mondoo, he blends deep systems engineering with strategic leadership, privacy/compliance stewardship, and vendor relationship innovation. Based in Seattle, he’s known for mentoring leaders and evolving IT management practices rather than chasing tech fads—bringing a durable focus on operational rigor and people development to cloud-native challenges.
