Top SchoolBenjamin Holst is a seasoned software consultant and engineering leader with a decade of experience building and scaling cloud-native, distributed systems for enterprises and startups. He has led and mentored large, geographically distributed teams, driving product delivery and hands-on engineering across Java, Scala, Kubernetes, Azure, AWS, Kafka and modern CI/CD tooling. Benjamin blends startup-minded entrepreneurship—as president of a web/mobile and blockchain/AI lab—with corporate experience at firms like Morgan Stanley, Intel, Nike and Edward Jones, often acting as the technical liaison between engineering and product. He has deep experience in high-throughput distributed storage and post-silicon testing systems, and a track record of modernizing legacy pipelines and data migrations. Based in Lehi, Utah and open to business opportunities in India, he pairs pragmatic engineering with a strong ethical compass and a focus on helping the less fortunate.
