Summary
🤩
RockstarBenjamin Pott is a seasoned software engineer and freelance CTO with 12 years’ experience designing scalable web, mobile and video streaming platforms from startups to media groups. Based in Lyon, he blends hands-on engineering (React, React Native, Node.js, Serverless, AWS) with technical leadership roles—leading ads and video teams at M6, building media tooling at Euronews and Afros tream, and shaping product architectures at Majelan and Claap. He specializes in video workflows, player integrations and CI/CD for mobile and cloud, and has a strong interest in deep learning and AI applied to media. Comfortable operating as an individual contributor or running technical teams, he often sets up monorepos and tailored CI/CD pipelines to improve scalability and deployment velocity. Active in R&D and product-facing roles, he brings a pragmatic mix of research curiosity and production-grade delivery. An under-the-radar strength is his long-standing focus on video ads and transcoding pipelines, which gives him rare domain depth across both front-end playback and backend media processing.
