Top SchoolBert Hubert is a seasoned entrepreneur and engineer with over 26 years of experience building large-scale Internet infrastructure, best known as the founder and original architect of PowerDNS, a project that today serves roughly 30% of global domain names and powers hundreds of millions of resolvers. He blends deep systems and security expertise with public service, having advised Dutch electoral and intelligence bodies and contributed R&D to national cybersecurity efforts. Bert’s career began scaling one of the first cable ISPs and includes founding successful tooling businesses (e.g., Fox Replay) and academic collaborations in DNA and GNSS research—an uncommon crossover of networking, security and scientific inquiry. Currently running AHU Holding, he provides government training and technical advisory work, bringing pragmatic engineering, open-source stewardship, and policy-savvy judgment to complex infrastructure and security challenges.
