Top SchoolBoaz Yaniv is a Distinguished Software Architect with 11 years of experience building and modernizing large-scale, cloud-native systems, currently shaping strategy and architecture at Cybereason. He pairs hands-on engineering—spending at least half his time coding—with big-picture decisions around cloud strategy, scalability, security, and time-to-market. At Rakuten he led core authentication and ecosystem services, driving mass migrations from monoliths to automated microservice pipelines for hundreds of millions of users. His polyglot toolkit (C++, C#, Go, Java, Python, Scala, Kotlin, Ruby, JS) and comfort across frontend, backend, mobile and infra means he chooses the best tool for each problem rather than defaulting to one stack. Known for keeping close to legacy code and production operations, he uncovers real-world pain points and builds pragmatic automation and standards. Trained in linguistics, he brings an analytical, systems-level view that favors clarity and simplicity in complex technical ecosystems.
