Rockstar🎓
Top SchoolBobby Battista is a founding engineer with a decade of hands-on experience building and scaling product and infrastructure across startups and large tech firms. He’s shipped production systems at Postmates and Uber, built emergency-service interfaces and developer tooling for Cruise, and led engineering at Dwell to launch a consumer product and e-commerce platform from zero. Currently at Figfy and active as an LP at Cluster Capital, he combines technical due diligence and deal-side judgment with product-first engineering. Comfortable across Go, Python, Rails, and modern frontend stacks, Bobby also has deep operational chops from early roles running driver operations and analytics at Sidecar. Based in Bellingham, WA, he’s a hobbyist travel hacker, surfer, and musician—bringing real-world curiosity and creative problem-solving into technical leadership. An uncommon through-line in his career is turning ad-hoc operational work into reproducible engineering systems that scale.
