Brian Fitzgerald
Guest Lecturer - Media Campaigning And Social Change Masters Programme at Dancing Fox
Amsterdam, North Holland, Netherlands
Summary
👤
SeniorBrian Fitzgerald is an activist-founder and creative director with 11 years of formal experience leading Dancing Fox, a creative agency that crafts narrative-driven campaigns for environmental, human rights, and social-change organisations. He combines hands-on digital and storytelling craft—having driven early digital adoption at Greenpeace in the 1980s—with teaching roles as a guest lecturer in Media Campaigning and Social Change at the University of Westminster. Brian’s work spans strategy, tech and creative production—apps, websites, videos and books—and has influenced parties, governments and sectors toward more sustainable behaviours. A serial founder and board member, he blends activist risk-taking (from civil disobedience to banner stunts) with measured campaign design, believing technology and narrative together can shift public behaviour. Based in Amsterdam, he mentors and trains activists and organisations to tell stories that move people and policy.
