Top SchoolCamden Kirkland is a Senior Technical Instructor and developer with 11 years of experience blending materials science and software—leveraging a Chemistry degree and a background in electrochemistry to teach and build practical data and web solutions. At MongoDB he progressed from Technical Instructor to Senior Technical Instructor, while founding voodoochem to ship full‑stack projects that bridge scientific workflows and web tooling. He has designed and led intensive bootcamps and enterprise curricula (Trilogy, Rice, UT Austin) training students in Python, JavaScript, databases, and data analytics across hundreds of classroom hours. Camden’s unique intersection of lab experience (MBE, GC, transformer oil analysis) and hands‑on coding gives him a rare ability to translate experimental problems into reproducible software pipelines. He is passionate about education and the abstract interactions between materials and software, and enjoys applying JavaScript and Python to real‑world scientific and business challenges.
