Senior🎓
Top SchoolCarlo Mencarelli is an engineering manager and security-first infrastructure leader with 8+ years building reliable, auditable cloud systems for high-growth SaaS and regulated environments. He has a track record of turning messy security and reliability problems into clear architectures, runbooks, and automation—bootstrapping HackerOne’s detection & response program and leading multi-region DR and Kubernetes migrations that delivered measurable MTTR and cost reductions. At Abnormal AI he now runs FedRAMP Moderator reliability, security, and compliance, scaling SRE processes, SLOs, and Terraform-driven CI/CD for rapid, auditable delivery. Comfortable advising executives and negotiating with vendors, he balances practical simplicity over speculative over-optimization and embeds CSPM and observability into day-to-day ops. A former Marine Corps maintenance chief, he brings operational discipline and capacity-planning rigor to cloud engineering and security.
