Top SchoolCayetano Gallego is a CTO and seasoned backend/devops engineer with 13 years of experience building high-availability, cloud-native platforms from monoliths to microservices. He currently leads technology at Ride On, driving architecture design, infrastructure-as-code and automated CI/CD for scalable eSharing systems using Terraform, AWS (ECS/EKS), Golang and a broad ops toolchain. Known for strong Linux expertise, code quality focus and pragmatic use of design patterns, he pairs hands-on development with operational ownership of monitoring and incident alerting. His career includes impactful roles at PackLink and Softonic where he migrated legacy systems, implemented resilient messaging and storage patterns, and improved platform observability. Beyond day-to-day engineering he co-organized local tech meetups, reflecting a commitment to community and continuous learning. An interesting detail: he often combines Go backend work with orchestration tooling (Terraform, Ansible, Packer) to deliver end-to-end, production-ready distributed systems.
