Top SchoolCesar Ballester is a commercial and technical leader with nine years of experience guiding laboratory instrumentation sales and applications, currently serving as Business Unit Manager for ELTRA at Verder Scientific USA. He progressed from application specialist to US sales manager before leading the business unit, blending hands-on analytical chemistry know-how with market-facing strategy. Earlier roles in R&D and analytical services (Solvay, Intertek) gave him deep expertise in GC, LC, MS, elemental analysis, and regulated quality systems that inform product positioning and customer solutions. Based in Greater Philadelphia, he pairs a BS in Marketing with a chemistry background to translate complex technical capabilities into commercial value. Colleagues describe him as someone who bridges lab bench credibility and commercial acumen—often stepping into technical troubleshooting during sales cycles. He maintains a curious, developer-style mindset (his GitHub greets the world) that signals ongoing interest in technical tools and experimentation beyond traditional sales leadership.
