SeniorChabane Maidi is an experienced game programming educator and practitioner with eight years of focused experience designing curriculum, labs, and immersive learning experiences at Indiana University Bloomington. As Adjunct Lecturer and Game Lab Director he built and maintained experimental VR/AR rigs, custom lab workstations, and multimedia systems while consistently earning above-average teaching evaluations. He founded and grew the university's Game Development Camp, overseeing curriculum, staffing, marketing, and operations, and continues to direct camp operations and lead hands-on instruction. Equally comfortable as a creative director for an indie studio and as a university technologist, he translates pedagogical goals into practical software and hardware solutions that scale for students. A long-time Game Developers Conference volunteer, he brings industry-facing insight into the classroom and labs. He is driven by principled problem-solving and a commitment to making technology improve the world, not just win at any cost.
