Rockstar🎓
Top SchoolChad Metcalf is a seasoned technology leader and CEO with 15 years of experience building developer tools, cloud infrastructure, and go-to-market strategies for both startups and enterprises. He has led architecture and cloud alliances at Docker, scaled developer experience at Gitpod, and now heads Continue to reduce maintenance burdens and preserve institutional knowledge across engineering teams. His background spans hands-on build/release and ops work at Cloudera to advising and investing in early-stage dev tooling firms, giving him a rare blend of operational rigor and product strategy. Chad is particularly focused on solutions that connect all aspects of development workflows rather than point tooling, and he frequently translates developer pain into commercial opportunities. Based in San Francisco with a Master’s in Computer Science, he still "types curly braces from time to time," signaling an engineer's mentality in a CEO role.
