SeniorChan Park is a machine learning and research leader with 11 years of industry experience, currently serving as Team Lead and Executive Vice President of the Machine Learning Lab (ML2) at KC, a semiconductor and display solutions company in Seoul. He combines deep academic rigor—a Caltech PhD in Physics and postdoctoral computational research—with product-oriented ML work, having co-founded Moru Labs to deliver data-driven personalized cosmetics platforms and mobile apps. His background spans embedded systems, scientific computing, and full-stack web tools, including a presented scientific Python web application from his Rutgers work. At KC he has progressed from Principal Research Scientist to executive leadership, demonstrating the ability to translate advanced modeling into industrial-scale applications for hardware-centric domains. He also brings board-level perspective from a non-executive director role and an interdisciplinary toolkit that bridges physics, ML, and product engineering. Known for turning complex theoretical problems into deployable systems, he favors pragmatic solutions that integrate research-grade analysis with production constraints.
